Excellant steak last night. Service was professional and courteous.

Best service for a large group. Food was delicious and served together for our table of 17! The owner came by to check on us several times and offered complimentary appetizers. We will definitely be back!

Good drink specials in a Thursday night, steak had great flavor and was cooked just right, everything was fresh and tasty. We went there for a date night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

They give you enough food for 2 meals. The waitstaff is awesome and the food and atmosphere are excellent.

Really good steak. Normally i get steaks an have to send it back a couple times. This place got it right on the money the first time. Soft an flavorful. Damn good.

Amazing is the best way to describe Texas Legends Steakhouse. The atmosphere, the staff, and the food is just amazing. A very comfortable atmosphere that is suitable for a date or business meeting. The staff are friendly and helpful. I believe everyone that was working asked if I needed anything and if my food was prepared properly. The food is amazing. Salad was fresh, steak was cooked to perfection for my taste, and the baked potato was almost ridiculously huge. I will definitely return. They are a little pricey, but for a small town steak house, I will not complain. Worth every penny!!

WE LOVE LEGEND'S!!! The place is clean, and the food is high quality and very fresh. I haven't tried one thing on the menu that I didn't enjoy. The staff and owners are very friendly and customer service oriented. It's a great place to bring the whole family or go out for a nice dinner date.

This steakhouse is fantastic. Appetizers were fast and delicious, beer was cold and the steaks were perfect. The steaks had the right combination of seasoning and smoked (hickory?) flavor. Will definitely return.

Have been traveling over an hour to get to this steak house for two years. It has been wonderful service, great servers,and a real rustic atmosphere that we enjoy very much. However, the last two time we have had great service and way below average food. The pork chop my wife had was tough. My steak was tough and the steak before this one you couldn't cut...with a very sharp knife. It hasn't been this way before .The little rolls they serve are beyond good. Just terribly disappointed. May not drive an hour for that any more.

First, thank you Cindy for your great service! The steak kabobs were outstanding and the hamburgers are really good. Neat place with all the western stuff on the walls. We’ll see Cindy next time we are here. And we will be back!

Service was on point! Everyone was so friendly and inviting. The food was amazing! We both ordered the half size chicken fried steak and trust me it was more than enough. Hate to see how big the full order is! Drinks were great too. If your traveling and in the mood for a great dining experience stop off and see these folks and enjoy!!

Our food was cooked perfectly. Staff was very friendly. Owner was out in the dining room working alongside the wait staff. He was friendly as well. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Southern Texas.

Just ate Valentine's dinner at your steakhouse, it was wonderful, great service from Stephanie our waitress, great food . I had small rib eye and my husband had Kobe chopped steak. Huge loaded baked potatoes and ice cold salads. We're from Bastrop and it was definitely worth the drive. We will be back.

Wow!!! The owners recently made steaks for a wedding I was at this weekend. I may have to drive 2 and a half hours to eat another one!! The rolls were hand made. I can't say enough about how delicious the food is.

We were traveling from Colorado to Conroe and found this little place had a great FB add so we took a chance and diverted. The salad, steak, shrimp and chicken fried chicken were fantastic but the service was the best. Our waitress, Debbie, made our day with her smile and hospitality and her assistant Hector was just as great. We will stop in again next time we are in that area!!! IT'S WORTH THE DIVERSION if you are on I-45.

Kobe burger is very tasty. Nice atmosphere and very polite small town staff are refreshing. Their suggestions for food were perfect. Nice choice list. Defiantly a good choice.

Legends is definitely the best restaurant in town. Service is almost always top notch. When Victor was there it was ALWAYS top notch. Judith is a close second though. The manager Chris is awesome and the owner Ashley is a great guy.As far as the food goes, never had a meal I didn't enjoy there. Only reason for the 4 star rating is they no longer serve a porterhouse. Lol

Stopped here for lunch today on my way home to Houston. Great staff! Ordered the 16oz Tbone and it had a great flavor, didnt need any steak sauce which to me is how you can tell if the steak is cooked right. I had the bread pudding for dessert and it was the best bread pudding I've had in years. I'd recommend this place to anyone and will definitely come back soon.

We come in as often as we can. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken are both great!If you're looking for real food this is a great place to look.

Just had the grilled quail for second time. It was fantastic. Love this place.

Some of the best chicken fried chicken and gravy, Shrimp scampi, fried mushrooms and cheese sticks I've experienced outside of a large city. I recommend visiting here if you're traveling down I-45... head in town on 21/190, in the town square.

My bf and I met here for an early dinner and the food was fantastic! I had an out-of-this-world unique, homemade sauce to drizzle on my crab cakes. The BEST part, though, was our server Stephanie. She was super sweet, smart and thoughtful. My Diet Coke didn’t get half-full before she was back with the pitcher. She knew the intricacies of the menu, bar and history of the town. That is why Texas Legends Steakhouse is our new Thursday night dinner place from now on!

Great food and great staff

Our steaks were cooked perfectly, baked potatoes were Texas-sized, and the homemade yeast rolls were delicious. Add to that a salad fixed just right for this picky eater and a chunk of bread pudding. Oh yeah! I'm a happy gal!

We came from out of town and had the Chicken Fried Chicken and Ribeye Stuffed Potato - the food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long for it. All the staff was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

Amazing! They start you out with hot fresh rolls, and you’ll eat the whole basket. The Ribeye was juicy and perfectly tender!

Ribeye steak was very good and the rolls,salad and asparagus was good the coffee was just ok but overall for madisnville its 5 stars.

With the words Texas and Legends in the name it has to be good. The hospitality is great and so is the atmosphere. I ordered the grilled chicken breast and it came with two sides. The only things under ten dollars is the appetizers though so they are a little on the expensive side. It's just my preference but I do not like potato skins in my mashed taters and they do that. That is really their only downfall other than the prices.

A very clean restaurant with great staff! I ordered the surf and turf and the steak was great, sadly the shrimp were a little over cooked. Other then that had a great time!

My experience at legends was that they treated me as family Mr. Ashley and his wife and there staff are always nice and polite this is how all eating establishments should be like. 😁

Good chicken fried steak

The food was some of the best you can get.....the homemade strawberry dressing is to die for. And the Chicken fried steak was super tender and delicious. Very highly recommend to stop by here for a wonderful meal

Enjoyed a great dinner at Texas Legends Steakhouse in Madisonville. Kori was our server and she was top notch and the food was amazing!! We will certainly be back here again. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!
